Why we built ExamClock
Every year, millions of Indian students prepare for life-changing exams — JEE, NEET, UPSC, SSC, banking, state services, board exams and more. Many of them juggle several exams at once, each with its own web of application windows, admit-card dates, exam days and result timelines. A single missed deadline can cost a whole year.
At the same time, the tools meant to help are often crowded with advertisements, locked behind subscriptions, or designed to sell coaching rather than to help a student stay organised. We wanted to build the opposite: a calm, honest, genuinely free app that simply keeps your dates and study plan in one place — and then gets out of your way.
What “non-profit” means here
ExamClock is run as a public-service project. It does not carry advertisements, it does not charge for any feature, and it does not sell or monetise your personal information. There is no upsell waiting a few screens in. Our measure of success is simple: a student who walks into the exam hall a little calmer and better prepared because the calendar was never the thing they had to worry about.
